“All the works were created within the project proposed by Colectivo Paralaxe, “Boca Aberta” (Open Mouth). The four pieces investigate the cycle of life and death. XIII is a large picnic towel. A Face, a Spell and Two Hands Will Swallow an Enormous Heart is a double piece, hanging on the wall with both parts placed side by side. Contemplation of a Circle and a Cat in the Afterlife is a floor piece. The opening of the collective exhibition was also accompanied by the publication of a book containing a series of drawings that function as a manual for self-healing through a volcano (on mourning).”
